Step 1 of 3: Enter activation information
Select Host ID Type
Enter Host ID which identifies the computer or hardware dongle associated with each software activation.
Enter Serial Numbers and Product Keys which are printed on an information card, packaged with the software CD-ROM.
To obtain the Host ID with FactoryTalk Activation Tool installed:
On the Get Activation Tab, select the option Use Host ID of this computer. The box to the right lists all of the Host IDs associated with that computer.
To obtain the Host ID without FactoryTalk Activation Tool installed:
Enter "ipconfig /all" in MS Windows command prompt, look for "physical address" to get network card MAC address and remove "-".
Enter "vol c:" in MS Windows command prompt to get the hard disk serial number and remove "-".
If you use Laptop, please use DISK_SERIAL_NUM=xxx as your Host ID.
If you are requesting a "concurrent" activation, you will be able to specify the number of activations on the next page.
